Took my vehicle in for trans fluid change at 101K(not flush) without new filter at an indy shop who claims to deal with Volvo. Car had software upgrade at about 80K miles. Since the fluid was changed car does not get out of third, seems to shift normally in 4 gear and does reverse. Dealer says the wrong plug bolt was removed causing a pin to fall in and wreak havoc. Sound familiar to anyone ? I am wondering if a rebuilt or even manual replacement is possible. This is supposed to be guaranteed work via my car "club" but I think a law suit would be faster.
