General question on heated seats, instrument panel 850 1996

I purchased a 96 850 FWD coupe a few months ago, seems to be a pretty good car, but its the base model. Today I was roaming my favorite junk yard and found a 1995 850 wagon with a lot of the luxury add-ons in it. In particular it has the heated seats and the top-end clock/trip module in the dash (mine only has the basic clock and standard seats).

I'm curious if anyone has tried upgrading to the "luxury" accessories on a base model:

1 - can I just take the heating element and the console switches off of the 95 model and put them in my 96? Is the wiring harness inside the console and under the seat of the base-model already setup to accomodate this? I don't want to swap the entire seats out, as the leather in the wagon is pretty ratty compared to the seats in the 96.

2 - can I swap out my basic clock with the upgraded clock/trip computer module? I grabbed the "info" switch out of the dash of the wagon already. Again, will the computer and wiring harnesses in the 96 accomodate that, or do I need to grab some other computer module and/or sensors out of the wagon also? Where would they be located?

My thanks in advance to the Volvo geniuses that contribute to this board and make my life so much better.
