I took the 850 to the dealer last Thursday for routine service and had them do a diagnosis.
The car got me there (40 miles) OK and died in their lot. It also died in their lot
as I was leaving.
They told me the MAFSensor was bad and offered to replace it for (too much).
They said the price of the sensor was $289.
VADIS identified the sensor as Volvo PN 1366220, although the sensor on the car is the
later and more common 1275749, Bosch number 280 217 107.
I've found a new one of these (actually several)on ebay for about $65.
Used ones cheaper.
Any reasons NOT to get one of the new ebay ones?
