Excessive engine vibration at idle V70-XC70 2005

Happy New Year to All. I'm relatively new to the Brickboard, but I've owned several Volvos since 1983. Over the years I have done most of my own maintenance and repairs. I recently purchased an '05 V70 2.5T with only 50K. I noticed this engine has excessive vibration at idle so I suspected the upper rear engine mount being faulty. Otherwise car runs great. I took Klaus' advice from a different string and replaced that mount with the IPD poly mount, eventhough the OEM was in decent shape. No help. I know the history of the car and it has not been wrecked. All front suspension components seem to be tight and functioning properly. Eventhough the lower engine mounts look in good shape is there an easy way to test? Any other possibilities I should explore? I have a lot to learn about these FWDs. I would appreciate your thoughts...
