Wheel sizes for V70 R AWD V70-XC70 2000

Hi,

a few weeks back I bought myself a V70 R AWD '00. Currently it has R's original 17" R-wheels. And my question is; how big wheels can you fit in this car? And with what tires? I've seen few R's with 18" wheels and 215/40 tires, is this really the max size you can have without any modifications? I've tried to search this forum but couldn't find an answer. And does this apply to all V70 AWDs? What about FWDs?

Oh, I have so many many many questions to ask you guys, but I think I'll spare you from them right now, I'll post them under their own topics sometime soon.
