Does tour 2000 S-V 40 go through headlights? Cars with chassis numbers between 415000-600137 are eligible for an auxillary harness that adds a resistor to the low beam circuit to prolong bulb life. Ask your dealer to refer to service bulletin section 3, group 37, #0008. It describes adding a new harness between the central electrical module and the car harness, and replaceing both bulbs. It is covered by warranty. Harness part number is 30621291. Bulb part no.is 981465.
