Timing belt change V50

I had my cambelt (timing belt) replaced as part of a major service on Thursday. I then drove 260 miles on Friday but by Saturday the car was sluggish. I parked up for the weekend then on Sunday evening the car will not start. Is this linked to the timing belt change do you think?
