Went to go fill up, with about 6 gallons left in tank. After about 4 gallons, the nozzle clicked off. Kept trying to get it going again, many times, but it kept shutting off. Finally, and pile of gas came overflowing on the last attempt. Put the cap back on and checked the gauge, and sure enough, it only registered the 4.5 gallons that I added. Drove around to another pump, and it filled up the remaining 9 gallons or so without any problems. The next tankful went in without any problems.
Do these tanks have some sort of anti-roll or anti drain-back valve that was perhaps stuck temporarily? Or was this some fluke with the gas pump?
Thanks!
