oil leaking from intercooler? S70 98

I think my car may be leaking oil from the intercooler, that or the oil cooler (which I assume is in the same area) is leaking oil onto the intercooler. If ayone has heard of this I would appreaciate the wisdom of your advice.

I was looking at the undercarrage yesterday (I hit some debries and wanted to check that there was no dammage) and I noticed a large build up of oily gunk on the plastic shroud under the radiatoron the drivers side of the car. I did a little more investigating and it appers to be coming from air hoses which comes from or goes to, the intercooler. A while back, I noticed a hose clamp for the hose exiting the turbo was loose and that there was some oil in the area. I chalked that up to the previous owner being slopy in adding oil. But now that I am finding this oily gunk below my radiator, I am wondering if it is possible that the oil seal on the turbo is bad and the turbo is blowing oil through the intake system? The part that baffles me is that in 5K there is no appriciable decrease in the oil level, so where is the oil coming from?
