check engine light S40-V40 2000

for the fourth time had to take the car to the dealer because of the CK Eng light. the first time was a relay the second and third time they told me that I put gas on the car while its running and that caused the fault code. I am 100% sure I did not let the car running while I filled up cause I have to pay first and I always lock the car while I pay. Anyway has anybody had this trouble with the CKeng light for this or any other cause.
