I am an avid woodworker and long ago read some great advice - "Good sharpening stones are the most important tool in the woodworking shop." Over the years, I have learned to appreciate how true that statement is. This is where I come to sharpen my tools. This board is one of the most useful tools I have found for working on my bricks. I know that the knowledge I have gained here has saved me many $$$, but I appreciate the sharing of knowledge and opinions even more. I come here often to see what else I can learn. I feel privleged to have access to some of gurus who contribute. I thank you all.

I do not appreciate the current running thread with all the verbal attacks and name calling. The real problem is that there is probably some useful information which is being lost in the midst of this childish behavior. Yes this is a place to share opinions and even voice differences. Lets just do it in a more professional manner. I fear that if this sort of thing continues that good solid contributors will get tired and stop helping those of us who need it. I remember the 'wow' feeling I first got when I found this site - This site alone is worth my internet access fee. I can't imagine anyone tuning into that crap feeling the same way.

Anyone who comes here will soon learn the names of the contributors and will be able to decide for themselves who is providing good sound advice and who is 'full of it'. This still leaves room for those who just want to respectfully share their personal experiences. From this we can all gain.
