I'm getting clueless as to why I'm having a slight squeak coming from the front. About a month ago, the dealer replaced worn stabilizer links (both sides). Since then I can hear the metal-to-metal noise when I got my window down. I tried to reproduce the sound by shaking the car from the euro rails.. nothing. I brought it back to the dealer and they said it was the steering rack boots (?) that needed lube as they have seen such complaints before, btw: they've also checked the stabilizer links. To my surprise, it didn't do anything good since I hear the same noise. Can we now look at ball joints, tie rods or something? Already??
To best describe when it happens, well it is most audible when I go parking at work (underground garage) and making turns to get to the lowest levels. Also common is when the car hit small bumps and jolts side to side.. Seems to happen at low speed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
