"New Transmission Concerns" 850 1994

I just replaced my 850 transmission last week.I was told that all components and sensors in the rebuilt unit are new,not used.My friend recommend me to replace the PNP switch and speed sensor on the rebuilt unit.Is this a good idea or a foolish one?And yes,I got a great deal on the rebuilt tranny unit with two years and unlimited miles.
