Front-End "Rubbing" noise on tight turn 850 1996

Hi all,

Has anyone had problems with a rubbing noise when you turn the steering wheel on a hard right or left? I have a buddy who has the same problem on his Volvo. Also, when you turn the wheel really fast it comes to an end, and then "gives" a little more (2-3 inches) but of course I get the rubbing sound.
