oil leak S40-V40 2002

I'm still looking at this car to buy. It seems to be in great condition except for an oil leak on the bottom side of the engine on the drivers side. Do these 1.9 liter 4 cylinder engines have the same common leak that older 2.4 liters have. That is, the rear main bearing seal leak. Thanks, It has 103K.
