Low Beams / rear brake lights XC90

I have a 2004 xc 90 with the Bi-Xenon headlights and the low beams go out together for no apparent reason and then will work again on their own.No blown fuses also not sure if related or not but rear brake lights stay on untill you wiggle the relay box in the rear compartment no apparent wiring damage and just about any relay wil make them go out untill you step on the brake pedal again.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
