ECU Products to boost horsepower S80 1999

I've seen advertised the aftermarket ECU products to boost horsepower of the S80 T6 by about 20%. What do you think? Do any of you have first hand experience with such products? I imagine that Volvo would void its warranty if such a product were used.

What do you see as the pros and cons??
