After a couple of straight 100+ degree days here in the Delaware valley, I noticed after I turned off the ignition that my electric cooling fan also shut down within seconds after I pulled out the key. Is this normal for the 850?

I seem to remember on a Saab 900 I used to own that the cooling fan would stay on long after I shut off the ignition. Any thoughts?
