95 850 Won't Start HELP! 850

I am working on a 95 850 NA for my brother. The other day it stop starting when cold, although it's been in the 90's around here. Checked for codes, but nothing came up. We went ahead and replaced the fuel pump, relay and filter. The vehicle started. The next day it didn't start again. He kept trying over and over and finally it started and he drove it back to my place. I looked at the car about 3 hours later and it started fine, but for grins I replaced the plugs. Car started again, no problems. 2 hours later, it wouldn't start again. I came by and looked at it again, we tried again and again while I tapped on the ignition coil; car started. Turned it off and on several times and it started no problems.

Next morning it wouldn't start so we did the same thing; tapped coil and finally 10 minutes later of cranking it starts. Today I swapped out the coil, coil to distibuter wire, distributer, and rotor from my 95 850 (Turbo). Again it didn't start... I also reviewed codes and resat the ECU and TCU.

We are lost for ideas at this point. Two weeks prior to this happening I found the intake hose between the trottle body and MAF cracked. I replaced the hose then and reset the CEL. He also said that within the last month the car would hiccup while he idled and it would take a few extra cranks to get the car started. I figured this to the cracked hose, but perhaps it's tied to the crrent underlining problem.

Any ideas before we have it towed to a dealer or local mechanic?
