Seatbelt 850 1997

I have recently purchased a 97 850GLT Wagon. I am trying to determine how the front driver and passenger seats seatbelts can be adjusted to provide for several more inches in their length as I find that when now wearing a heavier coat that the belts are too tight especially across the chest. I suppose one answer would be to loose some weight but there must be others.
