There's such a think as dress for sucess. Electonic or not, how you care yourself say somethings.
Whether you like it or not, we are a material society due to the very fact that we've become as a society wealthy over the last decade. C'mon now, it makes perfect sense not to waste money on a car. But when you're driving something 7 years-old and try to cut down those who have spent money on a new one, your underpinnings have got to be examined. I know of no (that's zero) men in my department who drive a car older than 98. A slew of them got new ones last summer when bonuses for 1999 got paid. S80 is a plain-jane, decent luxury car. It's not perfect, but to say an 850 is somehow superior has got to be looney.
So you want to drive your 7 year-old car, nothing wrong with it. My advice is to get yourself something new and give that car to your son or daughter. Enjoy the progress that's been made--I guarantee that a 2000-2001 car has nice touches that weren't available back then. Don't criticize those who can afford new ones. You can't take it with you, living a little is part of life. It's like saying I've got an S80 and tested the new Lexus 430 which I found to be unacceptable. C'mon.
