No breakin period for 2001 XC? V70-XC70 2001

Hi,

We just purchased a 2001 XC - awesome car. Our dealer told us it doesn't

have a break in period... Since I don't think they come already pre-driven, I would have expected a break in period.

Can anyone tell me if its normal for newer cars to not have a break in period and any advice for driving it for the first little while?
