I just purchased a 2008 V50 T5 AWD. I just ordered the filter elements that fit into the plastic cannister, and all I know is that it's a different style filter from the Mann oil filter I've used for years on all my other Volvos. Is the oil filter accessible from under the car with the skid plate removed, as it is on my 1993 850? ipd said I would need there oil filter socket, because the canniter is recessed. Thanks!
