Hi All,
I purchased a new S80 in June of 1999. During the first year I had 5 problems with the check engine light coming on. Some of the problems were due to the evaporator part not working and also software problems. In addition to these probelms, I have experienced problems with the electrical system. My signalling and message prompt system are not working. WHile I have scheduled an appointment to service these problems, it generally ties up a whole day trying to get any repairs fixed from the Volvo Dealer (Red Bank Volvo). I bought the Volvo for reliability and safety and did not expect these type of problems? Has anyone had a similar experience with their S80? Did Volvo resolve the problems? Any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks.
