keyless remote + radio 850 1996

Hi

This is now the second time that I approach this great site.

The first time it was about the clips at the backdoor of the wagon.

Thank you for the great help.

This time it is about the keyless remote and the radio.

The year 2000 leaves us with some nasty things.

First the remote stopped working. We brought the car to the service (of course, after having replaced the batteries in the control!!!!)and told them to fix the problem. When we got the car back and tried the remote, it worked again. For about 4 days. Then the car did not open and when trying the key it complained loudly. My wife got a nice set of red ears at the shopping centre. When I phoned Volvo, the said they had just replaced the batteries! I started feeling slightly embarrased! Then they also started talking about: reprogramming, see Tai Chen (December 3rd)

Now, suddenly the radio went softer and softer until the sound ceased.

Naturally, I am a little sceptical now, after the experience with the remote.

Can somebody give some advice?
