Bumpy brakes after long drive S70 2000

have any of you noticed that after a long drive on a freeway, the brakes don't feel normal? I have noticed this a lot. When i hit the off ramp and begin to apply the brakes, it feels like the anti locks are working but I can't seem to see why they should be. The brakes don't feel smooth like normal but instead feel really bumpy and rough.
