I think my Volvo was probably totaled tonight. Someone decided to cut through traffic and turn in front of me and I broad-sided them at about 45 miles per hour. Naturally, both front airbags deployed and the entire front end is badly damaged but I walked away from the accident with nothing more than a little soreness and stiffness. You never realize how safe Volvos are until this happens to you.

I was always told that the people that buy Volvos were many times former Volvo owners like myself that have been in an accident and saw first hand how well the car did and I was also told that many people that purchased Volvos were either in a bad accident themselves with a car that didn't do so well and this time they wanted a safe car of someone thay know was hurt seriously or even parished as a result of an accident.

Thank GOD my children and wife wasn't in the car!! Thanks GOD I'm at home typing this letter instead of in the hospital or worse!
