Just my experience but the URO brand idler pulley can be dodgy to say the least.

Today, on my way to a business appointment, the outer 'ring' of the idler pulley for the S-belt separated from its cental spindle and fell off. I lost all power steering, power generation, and AC. Thank heavens I managed to drive on and return home relying on battery power alone.

The darn pulley is just *6 months old* believe it or not.

Will be buying a genuine Volvo supplied part tomorrow!

No more URO parts for me.
