'99 C70 P0014 & P0304 C70

Happy Saturday All,

This morning on my drive home from work my '99 C70 HPT began running extremely rough and rich, felt almost as if I had lost a cylinder or was having airflow problems. The engine has significantly more vibration at idle, and in lower gears the exhaust note sounds almost like a quiet Harley-Davidson. I pulled the codes when I got home and got the following:

P0014: Camshaft Position Actuator B - Timing over advanced

P0304: Cylinder 4 misfire

Where should I start? Should I pull the plugs and make sure they're not fouled first or go ahead and shell out the $150 for a new CPS?

Any experience with this issue from the board?
