Original coolant orange, new coolant blue 850 1997

I had to change the thermostat this week end like many others. The thermostat was staying partly open. This was also a good oportunity to replaced the coolant. I got a gallon of Volvo coolant from the Volvo dealer.

The original coolant in the car is colored orange. This is the color also used for DEXCOOL (GM, Texaco) coolant. It is orange to differentiate it from traditional coolant because you are not supposed to mix them. The new Volvo coolant (part # 9434699-9) is blue. Is it the correct coolant?
