Question About Replacing Brake Light Switch 850 1995

Quick question about replacing 850 brake light switch (later version used in 1995 model)-

How does the old switch pop out? Don't want to break anything down there.

How do I place the new one in position?

There's something holding the old one in place, not sure as it's a tough angle to see much, even with a light.
