S40 T4 and K&N filter oiling 02 Sensor?? S40-V40 2001

Hi guys,

I just want to check... I fitted a K&N filter to my T4, and now I hear that prolonged use of the K&N filter, cuases the 02 Sensor to oil up, and can make the car slower..

How true is that..and is this reversable after 2000km's, and need I worry??
