Tailgate Ajar Warning Light Won't turn off V70-XC70 1998

Anybody know where the switch is that activates the tailgate ajar warning light on the V70??? My dash warning light won't go off even though the tailgate is shut tightly. I searched but could not find any switch around the hatch opening-I'm assuming the switch is stuck somehow in the "open" position. Anybody know where the switch is that controls the warning light??? Thanks.
