What happens if PNP switch no replaced? 850 95

I have had code 313 on our 95 for about 6 weeks (since cold

weather set in). Car has 55K and I was hoping to delay repair

until 60K service (but that would be 6 months from now based

on milage we drive). Everything seems to work OK; but, is there

a risk of a bigger problem? What is the failure mode for this?

(One is I can't tell if I get a Check Engine light for some other

problem since light is held on from the 313 problem, any others?)
