Rear sway bar V70-XC70 2003

My V70 has no rear anti-sway bar. If I install a stock Volvo bar and end links, will I end up with handling trouble due to imbalanced side-side stiffness?

IPD advises me that using their rear bar alone would cause excessive oversteer.
Is there a simpler/cheaper solution than the IPD or VIVA front and rear bar kits?
