Tis the season... Volvo Canada (as far as I know) is offering what appears to be a Christmas present for 850/70 series owners who have been wishing to add a CD Changer. Here in Vancouver, both dealers that I know of are offering a Volvo 6 CD Changer the one that mounts in the glovebox for a blowout price of $399 installed (just add taxes). That's a pretty incredible price in Cdn $$. Anyways, if the shoe fits, go for it, there are limited quantities.

And oh... speaking of Christmas presents, I just bought myself a little something from IPD. I got an equivalent $4000 upgrade for oh about $10 - added the 'R' rear emblem to my AWD and now (at least to the untrained Volvo enthusiast), it looks like the V70R AWD !!! So far, that has got to be one of the most inexpensive and hot cosmetic upgrades I've done.

And for the real upgrade, I finally made the switch over to a K&N filter, regardless of all the mumbo jumbo threads about it, I just think it makes economic: 2-3 replacements of those paper ones = price of K&N.

Anyhow just spreading some Christmas cheer to the Volvo brothers & sisters.
