Well, its that time of the year again. My annual front end r/r. This is becoming a big pain in the back side and a very expensive issue with this car.

Here is what I got. (history)I've owned this car since 2000, in 2002 I redid the suspension since it was coming undone. I put on the IPDUSA Swaybar kit, Bilstein HD Shocks & Struts, Heavy Duty Coil Springs as well. Then replaced everything else affected by that with OEM parts. Well that lasted about a year or so. Then I have been replacing the upper spring seats,mounts,control arms annually from there on out. The car at this point has 350K on it and quite frankly I'm getting a bit upset that this keeps happening. I've tried OEM to low end parts and I get about the same performance, durability out of them all. I have found no major difference between them, except for the crazy pricing of the parts themselves.

How can I correct this problem once and for all? I love the car , but could do with out dropping a ton in repair cost every year on it. Any suggestions?

Also, now that I'm going to venture and do this work myself this year with the lack of funds. What tools will be required to the spring seats, mounts, etc.

PS: I average anywhere between 35K to 50K a year currently in mileage on the car. (if that helps explain things)

Also trying to figure out where the car is leaking oil from at this point. Fixed the rear main seal a while ago and that created a problem up top, then within the past year fixed both the front/rear cam seals. Now, I'm still leaking oil. It looks to be coming from the front of the motor somewhere any ideas or clues as to what it could be? I'm pissing out about a quart of oil every 1K miles and that is becoming an expensive leak. I would love to put an end to that one as well. Thanks.
