Operating Temp 850 1993

I've got a 93 GLT with 73k on it. It's been extremely cold for us (single digits to low teens for the last 2-3 weeks). The engine never seems to heat up. The temp gauge hovers around the bottom most of the time. Is that something about which I should be concerned? The car seems to run well despite the temp problems.
