I have a '94 855 turbo with 118K mostly-highway miles. Over the last 10-15K miles, first one and then the other wiper arms has worked loose from its post, leaving the much-needed wiper blade flailing uselessly in the wind. It's an easy fix, just reseat the arm in the correct position on the knurled post and tighten the retaining nut with my trusty metric crescent wrench, but of course the problem only happens when it's raining and inconvenient to get off the road and fix anything. This is now something I've added to my normal maintenance checklist. Only problem is, it seems to come on very suddenly, without the nut appearing to work loose gradually. It just happened again in really bad weather on a beltway at 75 mph, so I guess I'll check it pretty often from now on.
Happy (and safe) holidays.
