Hey guys/gals- yesterday as I was playing Santa(in sub 20 degree NYC weather) I turned on the heater to a low fan speed & the Thermo at 70degrees. after 10-15mins I heard a noise from behind the dash. I turned radio off, closed windows fully and discovered it was a "groaning" sound behind the Pass. airbag section. I turned it off then on again. When I increased the fan speed, it stopped. Back to low speed it started aft. a few moments. It goes for a few mins. then stops. Then starts again. The sound gets louder at times then dies down. This is only the second time it has happened but from past exp.(eg. the ABS/TRACS light), it will only get worse till I need to replace something.

Damn man!! I've only had this baby 9 months, and already a couple major things have broken. (even though car is only 3yrs old i'm out of warranty since the orig. leasee drove way more than the allotted milage).

So has anyone exp. this b/4 or have any idea what the problem may be?? Is this an easy/hard/expensive fix???
