OK, so I'm curious as to what people have found to be good tire pressures. I personally always run the fronts a little on the high side and the rears on the low side in a FWD car.
Here's the survey:
Car: 1998 V70 T5(M)
Tires: Pirelli P7000 SuperSport
Size: 205/50ZR16
PSI: Front: 36 Rear: 30 (if fully loaded car, rears go to 41)
Mileage on tires: N/A (new)
Rotating: Every 5,000 (Front/Back only; directional tires)
I'm curious as to what others are doing and what's been your experience. As I said, I've always found the the more PSI in the front the better for handling. And the backs can be VERY low before I notice a thing. So by running the max up front, and much less in rear, and rotating often, I get nice even wear and enjoyable handling.
I had a new `93 Eagle Talon for about 3 yrs. I got 45,000 miles out of the original GT+4s. The were non-directional and rotated Front to Back, Backs crossed to Front every 5k.
Your turn...
