Time to replace the serpentine belt on the '95 855T. Apparently, they don't like ATF and I spilled a little onto the belt when adding to the power steering reservoir.
The belt lost groove on the inboard side and black dust was all over the coolant recovery tank.
I've put about 2,000 miles on the car since then and have a replacement Conti 6 PK 1743 ready to go on. I think this is the long belt and I have the routing from Bay 13.
Searching and reading other threads I see that some have trouble with a replacement belt being too tight.
Can someone confirm for me that this is the correct belt and the newer longer type before I strand myself in the driveway?
