Hello,
Just talked to my daughter who has a 96 850 & she was telling me that the "pull tab" where it comes thru the grill for the hood release has broken off. How it happened to break I have no idea nor was she disclosing that info.
The dealer told her that the complete cable has to be replaced. Has anyone had this problem & resolved it without the dealer option.
There are no pick`n`pulls" around here with 850`s, In fact, you would be lucky to find a 240 that wasn`t totally stripped.
