Burning smell in cabin at idle 850 1996

1996 855 Platinum Edition. Great car, I've had it for about two years. In the past month it has developed an issue of a burning smell coming through the vents at idle. The smell is very strong and does not take long to develop. When the car is moving, the issue is not there. The previous owner had recently replaced the whole PCV system when I bought the car. My gut instinct is the PCV must be blocked up and causing the gasses to escape into my cabin at idle. Any thoughts or specific problems areas to look at? Thanks
