Does the turbo make a noise when it has a damaged bearing? I'm getting a strange squealing sound sometimes when I start the engine and rev to 1500 rpm.
Sound goes away after about a minute. The car has a new serp. belt, and this didn't make any difference. Could the noise be an alternator bearing?
