AWD side of the board, I am somewhat of a stranger on this side of the board due to the fact that most of the volvos I come in contact with are of the RWD sort.I do own an 01" S-60 and an 08"V-50 both are great cars, other than a broken rear coil spring on the S-60 they have given me no trouble.I have a friend looking to buy a newer volvo that I am not too familiar with so I would ask for any comments positive or negative about what she is looking for.I will encourage her to check this forum and respond to comments as needed....

Here is a clip from the e-mail she sent.

Bill,
My '99 xc70awd has 185,000 miles and needs new rotors, brakes, and
tires. I am thinking about a 2011 xc70awd T6 or perhaps a used 2009
or 2010. What do you think of the 3.2L AWD non-turbo? I would
appreciate any input from you since I know that you are very
knowledgeable about Volvos.
