2008 S80 dome light and heated seats questions S80 2008

Hi,
I just replaced my 96 850 (240k) with a 2008 S80 T6 AWD (50k) and I have a couple of questions for the experts here.

On the S80, the dome light has a green LED that seems to always be on. Any idea why it there or how to turn it off?

Also, the car has the rear heated seats option but they don't seem to work. Neither of the switches light up when pressed. Any idea how to troubleshoot this issue? How/where do the switch signals go?
