Windshield Washers/Antifreeze S70 1998

It's been a while since I've been on the board, so forgive me if these questions have been asked and answered.

My '98 S70 has about 85K. About six months ago, my windshield washers went on the fritz. First it was the passenger side, which squirted about 3 inches up the window, while driver side was fine. Then all of a sudden the driver side went out completely, with the pass. side still at 2-3". I removed all the hoses to remove any clogs, but no success. Further investigation revealed that the pass. side feed -- the piece that connects to the hose and then to the squirter on top of the hood -- leaks enormous amount of fluid through the bottom. I think its that piece that's causing the problem, but would like some advice. BTW, the headlight washers are working beautifully. I've got the cleanest headlights but the dirtiest windshield. Help!?!?

Re: antifreeze. Must I use the genuine Volvo antifreeze, or am I able to buy a generic version? If so, what type??

Thanks.

Cliff
