ANTI-SKID NEEDS SERVICE S40-V40 2005

I have a 2005 Volvo S40. My wife was driving said that it suddenly lost all power. Once she shut it off, it would not restart. Found that it would not show in gauge cluster what gear it was in. Also found that the solenoid for shift lock would not energize. She also said it made a loud noise? I think this was because the engine mount is in bad shape. I used a starter switch and jumped across starter to ensure no serious engine problem. It ran smoothly. After it restarted, Iread the "information" messages. I found that the message said "ANTI-SKID NEEDS SERVICE". After looking at forums online I noticed that it showed P in gauge cluster. I shut off the engine and restarted. The information light showed no messages. I checked the brake fluid level and it was good. What all may cause this problem? Thanks in advance.
