Any Toronto or GTA Volvo dealers guys on the board?

I picked up a clean V90 a few years ago for a turbo-diesel veggie oil conversion project. I didn't import the car to Canada right away and shortly after I bought it, Volvo demanded that they certify Volvo brand cars as fit. This means that usual inspectors like Canadian Tire are not usable.

The local dealer has a 4.2 million point checklist that they want to use to insist that everything the car came with will work for 2 more eons before signing off on the car's condition. There must be a Toronto area Brickboarder that is associated with a dealer or one of their mechanics to get this car inspected with the consideration that drivetrain, cooling, exhaust, brakes and much other is going to be replaced with completely different parts before the car is plated for the road. The closer to downtown Toronto, the better but I'll consider anywhere in the Ontario southern tier.

Stalled by two lengthy family situations taking all my time and resources, I'm finally ready this coming winter to get my project started. The basics of the conversion; D24T 2.4L aftercooled (a/k/a intercooled) turbodiesel with a two tank (3 actually) WVO fuel supply. A small tank in the (deepened) spare tire well will house the preheating for the WVO and circulate the excess to the main 80L tank so all is eventually warmed, but the oil feeding the injector pump will be near coolant temperature to keep ash and deposits to a minimum. Another small tank in the spare tire well will hold dino-diesel for starting. A real spare will be onboard for the ride. 17" alloys will allow the fitting of 336 x 28 front brakes (XC90), with Ford Fiesta front calipers in the rear on the original parking brake type rotors to match the increased front braking. A 2.5" exhaust and possibly a variable vane turbo.

The car was chosen for its comfort, SIPS airbags, ability to accept a solid diesel driveline, and IRS rear. Expecting 35+ mpg on french fry oil and 1500 km (nearly 1000 miles) per fillup. Taking a year off from life to make a cross-N America trip, zig-zagging N/S trips between US and Canada with stops in no particular order... probably a bit of Mexico when we get to the West coast.

So... it's time to get the car out of my aunt's place in the States and properly certified in Ontario. I'll be able to drive it to the inspection on a 10 day temp registration. If you work for a Toronto dealer or can connect me to one of their mechanics or service managers, please PM me. Same if your connection is to a dealer out of the area but in the province.
